Is Yin or Yang the better boat?
There is no source-backed reason here to rank Scubaspa Yin above Scubaspa Yang, or the reverse. Scubaspa says Yin launched in 2013 and Yang joined a year later as an identical sister yacht. That supports treating them as the same vessel design, not claiming every departure has identical staff, condition, itinerary or price.
If both boats fit your dates, choose the route and cabin you actually want. A main-deck twin-capable Manta Suite on one can be a better match than a lower-deck queen on the other. If the cabin and programme are genuinely equivalent, compare the complete written quotes and travel connections.

Cabin differences matter more than the yacht name
Sea Star Suites are on the lower deck with queen-size beds and two opening portlights. The Cowrie Suite is also on the lower deck, in the bow, with a queen bed, a sofa convertible to a second bed and four opening portholes. Cowrie is a distinct layout, not simply another main-deck panoramic suite.
Dolphin Suites are on the main deck with queen beds, seating areas and oval panoramic windows. Manta Suites are also on the main deck: the operator lists four with king-size beds and twin options, and one with a queen. Do not assume every Manta converts to twins. For friends travelling together, the exact suite and confirmed bed setup can decide the booking before Yin versus Yang does.
Choose Sea Star when its lower-deck queen arrangement meets your needs and its quoted price is preferable. Choose Dolphin for a main-deck queen and panoramic window. Consider a twin-capable Manta for separate beds, or Cowrie when its sofa-bed arrangement is specifically suitable for your party. These are layout judgments, not guarantees about motion, noise or available cabins.

For a seven-night holiday, Scubaspa advertises Scuba Holiday with up to 17 dives, Spa Holiday with eight treatments, or Scuba & Spa with six dives and four treatments. Every guest chooses a package; the published policy does not allow exchanging dives for spa treatments within it. A couple can therefore have different priorities without needing a different yacht.
The Scuba package is for certified divers. The operator directs guests taking its Open Water course to the combined package and says that course is available only on seven-night holidays. Extra treatments for Scuba-package guests are chargeable and subject to availability. Do not buy the combined package expecting to convert all unused dives into massages.

Put the two quotes side by side with the sailing dates, route, embarkation and disembarkation points, number of nights, suite category and number of occupants. Then record each guest’s package and any additional domestic flights or transfers. The packages page includes airport transfers on regular arrival and departure days only; it does not establish that every remote itinerary includes every flight.
Scubaspa’s August 2025 terms state that published rates are in USD per person on double occupancy unless stated otherwise. They exclude service and administration fees and applicable government taxes; special-cruise supplements may also apply. A cheaper headline can be the wrong comparison if one quote has a different suite, occupancy or extra travel leg. Obtain the payable total rather than treating a general rate as a live offer.

The shared design is not evidence that crews rotate on a particular schedule, that both yachts have identical current maintenance histories, or that the same cabin is available on both. Those claims are not established by the operator pages cited here. The terms also allow changes to itineraries, accommodation and the cruise vessel when circumstances require them. A named-yacht reservation is not an unconditional guarantee against substitution.
For divers, Scubaspa requires valid diving insurance. The boat’s spa facilities and your chosen package do not establish personal fitness or suitability for a demanding route. Choose the departure within your certification and experience, and resolve any required medical assessment before travel. If the two offers are otherwise equivalent, there is no need to pay extra solely for the name Yin or Yang.
